We were pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant open between Kalispell and Butte MT, and to have good food, salads and you must try their famous cheese soup. We also had great service, so definitely would stop here again!
Service can be a bit slow if the waitress (owner) is busy so don't go if you're in a hurry. If a few drinks and a nice dinner is what you're after then by all means this local landmark is a definite must visit place.

A really nice dining experience! From the front of the building you wouldn't expect how beautiful the dining room is - cathedral log ceiling, etc. We had the special of the day - prime rib stroganoff which was really good. I also had the broccoli cheese soup, which I really enjoyed. The piece of huckleberry cheesecake was huge. I shared it with my wife... and we still took some home. They are only open Wednesday thru Sunday.
Best omelette ever! All part s of our breakfast excellent! Service by Jenny excellent! Decor appealing rustic, large, lots of windows with views of nature, including deer in the back yard. A restaurant since the 1970's, we definitely plan to get by there again while in Montana. Highly recommend!
Probably the best wings I've had in the area. Ordered the Buffalo ranch dry rub and BBQ sauce variety. This place is a gem! Fantastic service and delicious food. We will be back!
15 min North of Seeley Lake, on MT-83. Easy access and plenty of parking space. We arrived at 11:00 am. We took a table on the patio. The space is really nice outside. Very clean. Ordered the special. Fried chicken with a brown gravy and some french fries. The food was very good. Had an Irish coffee with it. Service was very good. Friendly and professional. Definitely worth the stop.
Great food, but if you're in a hurry, keep going. Cecil on the door sign. Good portions, strawberry salad was very fresh, and patty melts we're delicious!
